OUR APPROACH

Farm-Grown, Seasonally Inspired Wedding Florals

At Millay & Meadowlark, wedding flowers begin in the soil. Our designs feature locally grown, seasonal blooms and foliage cultivated on our farm in Missoula, Montana, serving couples across Flathead, Granite, Lake, Mineral, and Ravalli Counties. Each arrangement is guided by what is naturally flourishing at the time of your celebration, allowing for flowers rich in color, fragrance, and texture.

While specific flower varieties cannot be guaranteed, every stem is thoughtfully selected and harvested at its peak, designed intentionally within your chosen color palette and overall vision. The result is florals that feel organic, artful, and deeply connected to place.

Wedding Flower FAQs

LEARN MORE

  • Your wedding flowers will feature locally grown, seasonal blooms and foliage cultivated on our farm in Missoula, Montana. While specific varieties cannot be guaranteed, each stem is thoughtfully selected and harvested at its peak, designed within your chosen color palette.

  • A La Carte flowers are arranged in a curated mix of opaque white ceramic and clear glass vessels, including trio bud vases and traditional clear glass mason jars. All vessels included with your order belong to you after the wedding.

  • Ribbon is included as described with your selected bouquet style. Ribbon colors may be chosen once your contract is signed and a 50% deposit is received, provided your wedding is at least 60 days away. For shorter timelines, ribbon will be provided in white or cream.

  • A La Carte and bulk flower orders are available for on-farm pickup, typically Thursday, Friday, or Saturday morning before a Saturday wedding. We recommend an air-conditioned vehicle with ample space to safely transport your flowers.

  • Flowers should be transported directly to the venue or staging area and stored in a cool, dark location until use. Bouquets arrive in water with floral conditioning solution. Avoid heat, direct sunlight, and wetting bouquet ribbons.

  • Once flowers are picked up, the client (or designated representative) is responsible for their care, handling, and condition.

  • As a flower farm, availability is weather-dependent. In rare cases, we may discuss sourcing from trusted domestic farms or wholesalers. Any changes or additional costs will always be reviewed and approved in advance.

  • A nonrefundable 50% deposit is required to secure your wedding date. This deposit supports crop planning, growing, and design preparation. The remaining balance is due on or before flower pickup.

  • Wedding flower orders are priced for on-farm pickup. Delivery, installation, placement, and post-event striking may be available by request and are billed at an additional hourly rate plus mileage.
