BLOOM

A hands-on, DIY event at Millay and Meadowlark Flower Farm.

Thursday, August 20th, 2026
Event Start: 7:00pm
Event End: 9:00pm
Millay & Meadowlark Flower Farm

It’s peak summer, the days have been long, hot, and sometimes, quite smokey. On August 20th, we invite you to join us for ‘Bloom,’ an evening to slow down and enjoy the season’s abundance and creativity.

We think of ‘Bloom’ as an extra playful and whimsy U-Pick. On August 20th, you’ll go home with more than a bouquet of flowers. Bloom features:

  • Arts: Watercolor painting featuring art cards by local artist Michelle Nowels (Ashes and Arbor)

  • Herbals: DIY tea sachets from herbs grown, picked, and dried right at Millay and Meadowlark. Make your own special recipe to take home or gift to a friend!

  • Sodas: We’ll bring the bubbles and syrups, you bring your inner mixologist. Featuring homemade syrups from farm herbs and flowers, you’ll mix and match your favorite flavors for the perfect summer refresher. (Psst - we’re also featuring more delicious fermented sodas from B Street Farms because, honestly, we just can’t get enough).

  • Enjoy old-time music as you wander between activities

You are more than welcome to bring your own picnic or snacks. Refreshments are included with your ticket, and additional snacks will be available for purchase during the event.

Plus, we’ll have several local vendors joining us!

  • Cool off with delicious farm-fresh popsicles by Flare Pops (of Fresh Roots Farm)

  • Locally made bead earrings by Moon Bloom Designs

  • Unique, up-cycled art made by MMFF staff (and Jen’s oldest son) Connor!

This event is come as you are and stay as you please. We’ll have all of these stations and pockets of joy available throughout the evening, so come anytime, and stay however long you’d like!*

‘Bloom’ is family friendly, but leave your dog family at home, please!

*Supply availability may vary

*Entry is free for ages 7 and under

A few other notes…
